To provide a fabric having rib with an excellent morphological stability, reduced stuffy feeling and reduced generation of static electricity, having a soft surface and excellent cool feeling, exhibiting glossiness with high-grade sense and clear color development, free from slip down in wearing, and to provide a middle east native costume consisting of the fabric.

Provided is the fabric having ribs including the combined fabric structure of vertical cord ribs and crepe weave by preferably using cellulose based filament yarn with 2-8% of moisture percentage, more preferably using cellulose acetate filament yarn, the fabric has a soft feeling of the ribs, glossiness, color development, and is hard to cause slip down by the concavoconvex effect of the ribs, suitable for middle east native costume.
