Abstract:
To provide a theft preventive device for an elevator to prevent components in an elevator car from being stolen.
The theft preventive device of the elevator is to prevent any component(s) in an elevator car 1, for example an operation panel 2, from being stolen and is equipped with a failure sensing circuit 7 to sense that mounting screw(s) of the operation panel 2 is removed and a control means 8 to actuate an alarm device 4 installed in the car 1 when signals are emitted from the sensing circuit and an elevator control circuit 6 to emit an output when the door is left open.
