PURPOSE: To obtain a therapeutic agent for keloids having high improving effects on the keloids and high safety without causing any pain to a patient.
CONSTITUTION: This therapeutic agent for keloids comprises a humectant cream or a humectant liquid containing a humectant ingredient and a film-forming type pack applied onto the humectant cream or humectant liquid. Saccharides, water-soluble polymers and polyhydric alcohols are cited as the humectant ingredient. Furthermore, although the film-forming type pack may be a usual one, it has preferably the flexibility from the viewpoint of adhesion to a lesion and is preferably dried as quickly as possible to form a film after application thereof to the lesion. The humectant cream or the humectant liquid is applied to a wound lesion and the pack is then applied thereto and dried. The peripheral part of the pack film is subsequently fixed to the skin and applied thereto.
