To provide a soybean milk containing EPA (eicosapentanoic acid) and/or DHA (docosahexanoic acid) at high concentration as a therapeutic agent or prophylactic for hyperlipemia.
The invention relates to the therapeutic agent or prophylactic for hyperlipemia for continuous ingestion consisting of soybean milks in a container with 100-125 mL of quantity and 300-720 mg/100 mL of EPA concentration and containing 300-900 mg of the EPA, wherein the soybean milk is obtained by adding purified fish-oil with at least 28% of EPA, in an amount of 25% to the soybean protein of the soybean milk containing 3% or more of solid part. The soybean milk is arbitrarily selected from a blended soybean milk, a beverage containing soybean milk, an acidified soybean milk, and a Tofu prepared by curding soybean milk. In a preferred embodiment, the fish-oil contains tocopherol in an amount of 0.5%.
