Abstract:
To provide a therapeutic agent for retinochroidal diseases containing a steroid having excellent effect than a conventional steroid as the active ingredient and a dosage form for treating retina and choroid diseases whereby steroid can be conveniently administered.
This invention provides a subconjuctival injection containing, as an active ingredient, a therapeutic agent for retina and choroid diseases containing betamethasone and hydrocortisone as the active ingredients. The invention also provides a subconjuctival injection containing a steroid as an active ingredient. The retinochroidal diseases include age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy or proliferative vitreoretinopathy.
