Abstract:
To provide a drug for recovery from a spinal cord injury recovery exhibiting simple and high effects, to provide a food, a medicine composition containing the same, and to provide a spinal cord injury recovery method.
Provided is Withanoside IV and its peripheral compounds, which are oxygen-containing heterogeneous ring-having steroid glycosides, can be isolated from Ashwagandha (root of Withania somnifera Dunal) and can be synthesized by chemical synthesis means, and have high spinal cord injury-recovering and treating effects.
