Abstract:
PURPOSE: To stop the falling operation of a back rest when an obstruction is held there between the back rest, a back plane and a floor when the back rest collapses and to eliminate the obstruction by moving the back rest upward.
CONSTITUTION: This chair is provided with a contour sheet 1, the back rest 3 able to be erected/fallen on the contour sheet 1, a movable block 5 mounted on the contour sheet 1 and a connection arm 8 which connects the movable block 5 to the back rest 3 The back rest 3 can erect/fall by transmitting the movement of the movable block to the back rest 3 via the connection arm 8. The connection arm 8 is connected to the movable block 5 loosely, and when the back rest 3 falls, displacement when the connection arm 8 is displaced from a prescribed position is detected by a displacement sensor 11, and the falling operation of the back rest 3 can be stopped.
