Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prepare a therapeutic drug used for maintaining normal kidney function, normal thyroid function, normal adrenal gland function, normal immune function, normal cognitive treating function and normal body constituent composition in mammals in aging, and comprising L-deprenyl. CONSTITUTION: L-deprenyl compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable form thereof of about 0.1-5.0mg/kg body weight of an animal is administered to the animal from the middle-age at least 1-5 times par week. The therapeutic drug used in the administration recipe is especially useful for a pet, e.g. a dog and a cat.
