PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increasing an outside diameter dimension of a diagnostic ultrasonic probe and to cool an ultrasonic transducer with improving insertability and operability into a trocar and a throat.SOLUTION: A therapeutic ultrasonic adapter 1 comprises: a housing 3 that is detachably attached to a diagnostic ultrasonic probe 8 which includes a diagnostic ultrasonic transducer 11 arranged at a tip of an insertion section 9 insertable into a body; a therapeutic ultrasonic transducer 4 that is fixed to the housing 3 and emits a densely-focused therapeutic ultrasonic wave to a focal point P that is arranged in an imaging range of the diagnostic ultrasonic transducer 11 while the housing 3 is attached to the diagnostic ultrasonic probe 8; and a heat radiation unit 5 that is arranged in vicinity to or in contact with the therapeutic ultrasonic transducer 4, is arranged in a state of at least partially being exposed to the outside of the housing 3 and is made of a material having higher thermal conductivity than the housing 3.
