Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology concerning a thermal apparatus operated upon being supplied with electrical power from a commercial electrical power system or a battery in which a shutting-off of a discharge from the battery can be restricted without damaging user's convenience when the battery is performing an autonomous operation.SOLUTION: This invention discloses a thermal apparatus operated upon being supplied with electrical power from a commercial electrical power system or a battery. The thermal apparatus comprises: a heat pump heat source machine for consuming electrical power to heat thermal medium; a combustion heat source machine for consuming fuel to heat the thermal medium; and a control device for controlling operations of the heat pump heat source machine and the combustion heat source machine. The control device can change-over an operation mode between a normal mode and a battery corresponding mode. The control device, under the battery corresponding mode, controls an operation of the heat pump heat source machine in such a way that the consumption electrical power at the heat pump heat source machine may become less than the set upper limit consumption power.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
