Title:
THERMAL CAULKING STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3470742
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal caulking structure which is capable of efficiently improving the adhesion between an enclosure and a push-button member.
SOLUTION: In a thermal caulking structure consisting of a boss 19, formed protruding from a plastic enclosure 15, with which the anchorage part 17 of a fitting is engaged, for thermally deforming the protrusion of the boss, the amount of shrinkage is reduced by forming the protrusion into a flange form having a larger diameter than an engaging hole 18 in the anchorage part 17 and a flat thin wall. Thus it is possible to perform the thermal caulking and thereby eliminate the shaking at a minimum required amount of heating and a minimum required amount of application of pressure.
