To provide a thermal compressor usable without receiving restriction of electric power use at the peak of cooling electric power in summer or in an isolated island etc. by compressing a refrigerant by thermal energy, reducing cost and having high thermal efficiency, and an air conditioning device using the thermal compressor, having a simple configuration, reducing cost and having high thermal efficiency.
In the thermal compressor 1 for compressing a refrigerant by heat, an expansion chamber 75 and a compression chamber 41 are formed on the front face 78a side and rear face 78b of the displacer piston 78, respectively by the displacer piston 78 reciprocating by a drive part 30 and a pulse tube 71. The compression chamber 41, a heat accumulator 50, a heat absorbing device 60 and the expansion chamber 75 are communicated with each other sequentially. A discharge valve 46 and a suction valve 44 are provided in the compression chamber 41, and a preheating type combustor 10 is arranged in the heat absorbing device 60.
