Abstract:
To provide a thermochromic writing instrument from which a cover member which prevents a friction body from getting dirty can easily be removed while not being used.SOLUTION: A thermochromic writing instrument includes a writing part which can discharge thermochromic composition and a friction body 70 which can heat-discolor handwriting with the frictional heat generated when scraping the handwriting of the thermochromic composition. The writing instrument has a barrel member, the friction body 70 provided in a protruding manner on the end part of the barrel member, and a cover member 90 which is mounted on the barrel member and covers the friction body 70. On the outer surface of the cover member 90 a protrusion 91 is formed which protrudes outwardly and has a shape on which fingers etc. are easy to get caught.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
