To provide a thermal efficiency improving method and a thermal efficiency improving device for a heating furnace which is installed in an exhaust port of an existing heating furnace to put radiant heat of cloth members heated by exhaust gas into the heating furnace for reducing heat to be discharged from the exhaust port.
The thermal efficiency improving device 10 for a heating furnace is installed in the exhaust port 12 of the heating furnace and reduces the heat to be discharged to the outside from the exhaust port 12, and the thermal efficiency improving device includes one or multiple heat-resistant cloth members 15, 16 which are disposed in the exhaust port 12 along the flow of exhaust gas passing through the exhaust port 12 and heated by the exhaust gas, and support members 13, 14, 17, 18, 19 which secure the cloth members 15, 16 to the exhaust port 12, and reduces the heat to be discharged to the outside by putting radiant heat from the heated cloth members 15, 16 into the heating furnace.
