Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the thermal exchanger of an external combustion engine for the purpose of improving thermal exchanging efficiency by means of thermal transmission by radiation of thermal energy possessed by high temperature gas.
CONSTITUTION: Bowl-like porous or net-like radiation body 9 which covers a heater pipe 7 is provided in a combustion space formed above a cylinder. Consequently, operation gas in the heater pipe 7 is heated by the radiation body 9, by not only convection heat but also radiation heat, so that a thermal transmission quantity can remarkably be increased.
