Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal fabric adequate for winter clothes, which is made of union yarns comprising hygroscopic and exothermic cellulosic short fibers and thermoplastic short fibers and has a textile structure preventing heat generated by moisture absorption from escaping.SOLUTION: A thermal fabric has a warp double cloth texture containing union yarns comprising cellulosic short fibers and thermoplastic staple fibers. In the union yarn, the cellulosic short fibers and the thermoplastic staple fibers are blended at a mass ratio of 20/80 to 80/20. An apparent void ratio (%) of the warp double cloth is 20 to 50. A cover factor is 2000 to 4000.
