PURPOSE: To make it possible to surely fix high-quality images without generating offsets even at a low temp. by respectively specifying the melt viscosity of a main resin, the softening point of a release agent and the content of the release agent.
CONSTITUTION: The main resin for binding, the release agent and coloring agents are used as essential components. For example, styrene based resins, such as styrene-acryl based copolymer and styrene-butadiene based copolymers, and a polyester resin are usable as the main resin for binding. The melt viscosity (measured by a flow tester) of the resin for binding at 120°C is specified to ≤105 poises. For example, polyolefin wax, such as polypropylene and polyethylene, are usable as the release agent and the softening point thereof is specified to ≤130°C. Further, the content of the release agent is specified to 1 to 10wt.%. As a result, fixing even at a temp. as low as, for example, ≤130°C, is made possible.
