Abstract:

To provide a logic operation element that outputs heat by using heat as an input.

The logic operation element includes at least two thermoelectric elements that performs thermoelectric conversion using a spin orbit interaction and a conduction path that is connected with an electromotive force taking-out region of each of the thermoelectric elements through a resistance heating element while meeting constituent logic gates. With a heat input into each of at least the two thermoelectric elements as an input and with the heat obtained from a resistance heating element of a conduction path as an output, the logic operation element is operated as a logic gate.
