PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal management device showing low heat generation and low dust emission.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a thermal management device comprising a thermal management furnace 1 having a space where items 5 are arranged and thermal management is carried out; rod members 2A, 2B including magnetic substances; opposing members 3A, 3B each of which is oppositely faced against a part of side surfaces of the rod members 2A, 2B and including magnetic substances; a driving device 4A for rotating the rod member 2A around a central axis and changing a relative position between the rod member 2A and the opposing member 3A; a driving device 4B for rotating the rod member 2B around a central axis and changing a relative position between the rod member 2B and the opposing member 3B; and a contact member 6 which moves in the thermal management furnace 1 accompanied by a change in the relative positions of the rod members 2A, 2B and the opposing members 3A, 3B, contacts with the items 5 to move the items 5, and further the driving devices 4A and 4B are arranged outside the space where a thermal management is carried out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
