PURPOSE: To reduce sensitivity of a cover mechanism to strain or vibration by providing a print head for pressing a die receiving medium and a die supplying medium to a receiving container and a roller platen in a sandwiched state.
CONSTITUTION: A cover mechanism 30 is mounted at a main print support mechanism 12 with a cover mechanism mounting shaft 32 coaxial with a cover mechanism mounting shaft 31 as a shaft. When a latch 34 is released, the mechanism 30 is rotated to an open position at the shaft 32 as a shaft. A head positioning arm 50 is mounted at the mechanism 30 at the head positioning arm mounting shaft 52 coaxial with a head positioning arm mounting shaft 51 as the shaft. The mechanisms 32 and 52 are disposed substantially coaxially with one another. Thus, distortions or vibrations caused by an external force or the like in the mechanism 30 are reduced or excluded to be transmitted to the arm 50.
