Abstract:
To provide a thermal protector and a submerged pump, which can suppress complication of the configuration of a device provided with the thermal protector while suppressing automatic resumption of supply of electric power to a load due to natural decrease in surrounding temperature.SOLUTION: A thermal protector 1 (submerged pump 100) comprises: a first fixed contact point 11a connected to a power supply part 101; a second fixed contact point 11b connected to a winding part 25; a sensitive part 13 for making a change from a closed state to an opened state by deforming according to surrounding temperature increase; and a first heater part 15. The first heater part 15 is connected to the sensitive part 13 in parallel, and connected to the first fixed contact point 11a, and the thermal protector is configured in such a manner that an electric current flow heats the sensitive part 13 to hold the opened state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
