Abstract:
To increase energy efficiency compared to conventional thermal radiation elements.SOLUTION: A thermal radiation element (1) has a substrate (14), a plasmonic perfect absorber (10) comprising a first conductor layer (conductor layer 13) covering one main surface of the substrate (14), an insulator layer (12), and a second conductor layer (conductor layer 11), stacked in this order, and the first conductor layer (conductor layer 13) has electrodes (electrode pads 132, 133) that conduct current in the in-plane direction of a main surface of the first conductor layer (13).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
