PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat radiation light source and a light source device having high radiation efficiency with respect to supplied energy.SOLUTION: A heat radiation light source 1, having an optical structure 2 having an optical structure in which a refractive index distribution is formed in a member made of a semiconductor so as to resonate with light having a wavelength shorter than a wavelength corresponding to an absorption end of the semiconductor, includes: a fine metal structure 4 disposed on a substrate 3 of the optical structure 2; and a refractory metal thin wire line 5 supporting the substrate 3 and supplying a current to the fine metal structure 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
