Abstract:
To find out a new coloring reaction by referring to a heat-sensitive recording body containing a metal chelate type color developing component (patent publication 2014-184692 etc.).SOLUTION: It is found that when a metal salt of a higher fatty acid, which is an electron acceptor of a metal chelate type color developing component, is used together with anthocyanin, heat-sensitive color development takes place. A heat-sensitive recording body of this invention comprises a heat-sensitive recording layer arranged on a substrate, in which the heat-sensitive recording layer contains anthocyanin and the metal salt of the higher fatty acid. The anthocyanin can be a processed plant or an extract thereof. The heat-sensitive recording layer can further contain a colorless or light-colored electron-donating leuco dye and/or an electron-accepting developer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
