Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform high-quality printing just immediately after a power source is turned on without using a specific heating instrument and without consuming useless electric power in such a stand-by state as an ordinary power source is turned on in a thermal recording device in which data such as an image are printed on recording paper by using a thermal head.
CONSTITUTION: A thermal recording device is equipped with a thermal head temperature detection means C for detecting the temperature of a thermal head 6, a thermal head heating means B for heating the thermal head which prints prescribed data in the direction of horizontal scanning in the head part of respective pages of recording paper and a thermal head heating regulation means A for controlling the heating means B on the basis of the output of the thermal head temperature detection means C.
