To provide a thermal spraying apparatus capable of executing stable explosion spraying using hydrogen fuel.
A turbulent flow forming structure is integrally formed to the inner wall surface of the detonation pipe of the thermal spraying apparatus. Since the turbulent flow forming structure efficiently forms a turbulent flow, even in the case of using hydrogen whose reactivity is low compared to acetylene which is often used before, DDT (Deflagration to Detonation Time) and DDL (Deflagration to Detonation Length) are shortened. Thus, the thermal spraying apparatus of this invention can be operated by hydrogen fuel specifications without enlarging the size. Further, since the turbulent flow forming structure is formed as a structure thermally integrated with the inner wall of the detonation pipe, heat generated inside the detonation pipe accompanying continuous pulse detonation is suitably radiated to the outside through a projection and the stable explosion spraying is secured.
