Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a thermal spraying material suitable for use in linings formed by means of thermal spraying on various industrial furnaces or repairing of them and excellent in adhesion yield, corrosion resistance, and thermal shock resistance.

CONSTITUTION: This thermal spraying material, containing has a composition consisting of 97-40 pts.wt. powdery refractory and and 3-60 pts.wt. metal alkoxide. By this method, the thermal spraying material, improved in adhesion ratio even if conventional fuel and carrier gas are used as flame generation source for applying refractory metal and also improved in corrosion resistance, can be obtained.
