Abstract:

PURPOSE: To utilize a steel tubes arrayed sheathing wall as an ice storage tank for cooling.

CONSTITUTION: A steel tube pillars arrayed sheathing wall A, provided upon constructing a building B, is buried into ground and the upper parts of the necessary numbers of steel pipes 1, 1 are communicated with the lower parts of the same alternately to form an ice storage tank C, in which the steel pipes are communicated with each other in a condition that they are connected in series. Respective steel pipes of the ice storage tank C is filled with a multitude of spherical bodies 10, 10, into which water is sealed, and anti-freeze 11 while the anti-freeze 11 is cooled by an ice making type heat pump 12 to ice the water in the spherical bodies 10 and accumulate heat. In order to cool a room, the anti-freeze is circulated through a heat exchanger to utilize the frozen water as a heat source.
