Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal storage device capable of producing hot water by making extreme thermophile and hyperthermophile continuously generate heat.SOLUTION: A thermal storage device includes a bacterium bed of extreme thermophile or hyperthermophile, and composed of a continuous porous body, a first space as a heat-insulated space, accommodating the bacterium bed, liquid fertilizer supply means for applying liquid fertilizer to the bacterium bed, a second space for storing a liquid, and heat transmitting means for transmitting heat generated in the bacterium bed to the liquid stored in the second space, and the extreme thermophile or hyperthermophile is a bacterium generating heat when receiving supply of the liquid fertilizer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
