Abstract:
To realize a constant temperature heating of a fluid to be heated.
The thermal storage medium 1 used for a thermal storage type heat exchanger comprises many small-diameter spherical thermal storage pebbles 3 in a casing. In this case, the pebble 3 is formed by covering a surface of a spherical phase change substance 12 phase changing between solid and liquid at an available temperature with a ceramic coating 11. The coating 11 has a porous layer 2a at its inside and a dense layer 11b at its outside.
