PURPOSE: To obtain excellent conveying property by providing a layer wherein a constitutional unit consisting of polysiloxane group to be expressed by a specific general formula and ionic, hydrophobic monomer units contain specific weight %, the ionic and hydrophobic monomer units contain specific weight % under the presence of the constitutional unit consisting of the polysiloxane group, and the ionic and hydrophobic monomers are copolymerized under the presence of the constitutional unit consisting of the polysiloxane group so as to form a copolymer.
CONSTITUTION: A thermal transfer accepting sheet is formed by arranging an image accepting layer on one face of a sheet-like base material and a layer having antistatic property and lubricity on the opposite face. The layer having the antistatic property and lubricity contains a constitutional unit, consisting of polysiloxane group shown by the formula 1 (R1 represents 1-10C alkylene group, R2 represents 1-10C alkyl group or phenyl group, n represents an average value of 5 or more), of 0.-20wt.%, ionic monomer unit of 15-60wt.%, hydrophobic monomer unit of 30-84.9wt.%, and contains a copolymer made by bonding the constitutional unit consisting of the polysiloxane group to a polymer segment consisting of the ironic and hydrophobic monomer units through sulfide bonding.
