Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for temperature control of a heat source by using a thermoelectric power generation element.SOLUTION: A thermal transfer device 2 includes a thermoelectric power generation element 11, wiring 12, a load resistor 13, and a switch 14. The thermoelectric power generation element 11 includes an emitter electrode 21 and a collector electrode 22 arranged oppositely while spaced apart by an interelectrode distance d1, and converts thermal energy into electrical energy by capturing thermions, emitted from the emitter electrode 21, by means of the collector electrode 22. The wiring 12 connects the emitter electrode 21 and collector electrode 22 electrically. The load resistor 13 is connected onto an energizing path, through which a current flows between the emitter electrode 21 and collector electrode 22 via the wiring 12. The switch 14 is switched to any one of the on-state interconnecting the energizing path, and the off-state interrupting the energizing path.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
