Abstract:

To obtain a high-quality thermal transfer image-receiving sheet having a low cost, excellent dimensional stability and no concentration unevenness by formation of paper without laminating a film, etc., a core material such as paper, etc., in high humidity.

This thermal transfer image-receiving sheet is obtained by successively laminating a porous layer, an intermediate layer, and a receiving layer to a substrate composed of a one-side glazed paper produced by a production method comprising paper making by a paper machine equipped with a yankee dryer of mirror finish using a pulp fiber as a main raw material, pressing a wet paper by a press process in a press part, bringing the wet paper into contact with the yankee dryer under pressure and drying.
