PURPOSE: To form an image excellent in developed color density, sharpness, light fastness, fingerprint resistance, re-transfer preventing properties, blur preventing properties and contamination preventing properties.
CONSTITUTION: A dye receiving layer is formed on at least one surface of a base sheet. This dye receiving layer consists of a hydrophobic org. fine particles and a binder resin and the org. fine particles have a particle size of 5-500nm and have a crosslinked structure and fixed surfaces and can be easily synthesized by copolymerizing a compd. having a radical polymerizable bond in its molecule such as a monofunctional vinyl monomer, a polyfunctional vinyl monomer or a vinyl monomer having an active reaction group by emulsion polymerization or soap free emulsion polymerization.
