Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form a thermal transfer image receiving sheet not generating wrinkles or undulation at the time of the application of a foamed layer, enhanced in the easy foaming properties and cushioning properties of the foamed layer, excellent in printing image quality and printing sensitivity and same to paper in quality feeling such as gloss or a surface shape.

CONSTITUTION: In a thermal transfer image receiving sheet wherein paper is used as a base material and a foamed layer and a receiving layer are formed on the base material in this order, an undercoat layer is formed between the base material and the foamed layer.
