To provide a thermal transfer photographic paper capable of remarkably improving a printing density and preservability of an image without impairing printing quality.
A dye accepting layer 2 of the thermal transfer photographic paper having the dye accepting layer 2 on one side surface of a sheet-like base 1 is formed of a paint for a dye accepting layer containing at least a resin component and a silane coupling agent. A preferred blending ratio of the silane coupling agent with the resin component of 100 pts.wt. in the paint for the dye accepting layer is 0.5 to 20 pts.wt. In addition to the resin component and the silane coupling agent, a multifunctional isocyanate curing agent of 5 to 200 pts.wt. is preferably blended with the resin component of 100 pts.wt. in the paint for the dye accepting layer.
