Abstract:
To provide a thermal transfer printer equipped with a quantitative supply device which is capable of applying a treatment liquid by a fixed quantity and is high in consumption efficiency of the treatment liquid in the thermal transfer printer which thermally transfers an ink ribbon to a recording paper and erases a recording mark left on the ink ribbon by using a sponge roller impregnated with the treatment liquid.
The quantitative supply device is provided between a storage container which stores the treatment liquid and the sponge roller. The quantitative supply device enables intermittent supply of the treatment liquid of a fixed quantity from the storage container to the sponge roller.
