Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a loader/unloader for a thermal transfer ribbon in which the member including the body part and cover part of a cassette and a bobbin is not disposed but reused at the time of replacing the thermal transfer ribbon by a structure wherein the projection piece of a supply bobbin or a winding bobbin meshes the projection piece receiving part of the bobbin and the supply bobbin or winding bobbin is interlocked with a slave bobbin.
SOLUTION: An unused thermal transfer ribbon 3 is wound around a supply bobbin 1 and bonded, at the end-of-winding thereof, is a tubular slave winding bobbin 4. A winding bobbin 2 is inserted into the tubular slave winding bobbin 4 of a replacing member 5 and a projection piece receiving part, i.e., a level difference 41, is provided in the tubular slave winding bobbin 4. The level difference 41 part comes into contact with a projection piece 25 provided at the drum part of the winding bobbin 2 and they mesh each other and turns the winding bobbin 2 to wind up the thermal transfer ribbon 3.
