Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a thermal transfer sheet excellent in resolving power and the printability to a low smoothness receiving material and forming an image excellent in friction properties.
CONSTITUTION: In a thermal transfer sheet wherein an ink layer containing a colorant and a hot-melt compd. as main components is provided on a support, the hot-melt compd. is granular with an average particle size of 0.6-3.0μm and an acrylsilicone emulsion is used as the binder of the ink layer.
