Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermal transfer sheet having heat resistance, coating properties, slip properties and the like in addition to antistatic properties and corrosion preventive properties, and also provided with thermal head-traveling properties and good antistatic properties (and a heat-resistant lubricant layer) preventing the accumulation of refuses in a thermal head and the wear of the thermal head.
SOLUTION: A heat melting ink layer 2 is formed on one face of a base sheet 1, and a heat-resistant lubricant layer 3 is formed on the other face of a thermal transfer sheet, and a primer layer 4 is formed between the base sheet 1 and the heat-resistant lubricant layer 3, and the primer layer 4 contains an organic electroconductive material formed of a compound of terpene skeleton into which a sulfonic group and/or a group of its salt is introduced.
