Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer sheet that can make forgery, alteration or the like of a card or the like more difficult and can simply change image information containing an invisible light absorbing material formed on the card or the like on-demand by using the thermal transfer sheet.SOLUTION: A thermal transfer sheet 1 has an invisible light absorbing material-containing layer 3 including an invisible light absorbing material and a first thermoplastic resin and a transferable reception layer 4 including a second thermoplastic resin in a surface-wise sequence on a base material 2. The thermal transfer sheet is constituted so that the thermal transfer sheet has an adhesion layer 5 including a third thermoplastic resin and particles on the transferable reception layer 4; and a main component monomer of either or both of the first thermoplastic resin and the second thermoplastic resin and a main component monomer of the third thermoplastic resin are the same kind.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
