Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a heat transfer efficiency to a porous body, using more simple structure in a thermal transpiration flow pump.SOLUTION: A thermal transpiration flow pump 14 comprises a porous body 40 and a wall surface 22 for providing a temperature difference to a front surface and a rear surface of the porous body 40. A first surface 44 being the front surface of the porous body 40 is in contact with a first space 54, a second surface 46 being the rear surface of the porous body 40 is in contact with the wall surface 22 at least at a part of the second surface 46, and forms a clearance 48 through which gas can flow in the contact interface with the wall surface, a third surface 50 being a lateral side surface of the porous body 40 is in contact with a second space 56 communicated with the clearance 48 at the contact interface between the second surface 46 of the porous body 40 and the wall surface 22, the wall surface 22 is made of material transmitting heat but not passing gas, and pressure difference is generated between the first space 54 in contact with the first surface 44 of the porous body 40 and the second space 56 in contact with the third surface 50 due to a temperature difference given by the wall surface 22.
