Title:
THERMAL TYPE INFRARED DETECTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3435629
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely conduct off-set correction even in the case of a large number of detection elements, and to eliminate a blank time for an output.
SOLUTION: This device has plural blocks A, B of which each block is provided with a circuit comprising plural detection elements 1A-4A, a correction element 5A, a means for switching in order signals of the detection elements 1A-4A and the correction element 5A to be output, a memory means for storing the signal of the element 5A in every supplied time as a correcting value, and a means for correcting using the correcting value the signals of the elements 1A-4A in every supplied time to be output. Correction and output for the detection element signal are conducted in one block when the correcting value is stored in the other block, and the processing therebefore is circulated sequentially for the respective blocks. Since the correction value is updated in every signal detection for the detection elements 1A-4A, a holding time for the memory means is minimized even in the case of increasing the element 1A-4A. Since the signals of the elements 1A-4A are output in one block when the correcting value is stored in the other block, a blank time when output voltage gets zero is eliminated.
