Abstract:
To provide a thermal type lithographic printing plate capable of improving scumming and initial contamination while holding sufficient printing durability, and allowing direct preparation by a thermal head.
The thermal type lithographic printing plate has an image forming layer containing a thermoplastic resin and a water-soluble polymer compound on a support body, and uses a heating part of the image forming layer as an image part, and a non-heating part thereof as a non-image part, and the image forming layer contains a carboxylated SBR resin as the thermoplastic resin, and gelatin and a polyvinyl alcohol having 85 mol% or lower of a saponification degree and 1,000 or lower of a polymerization degree as the water-soluble polymer compound.
