Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always obtain a stable reversing action, regardless of adjusted position of the adjustment dial.
SOLUTION: In a thermally-activated overload relay that is equipped with a moving plate supported reversibly around the fulcrum at an end and a tension spring to reverse-drive the moving plate and devised, so as to reverse-drive the moving plate by the tension spring at the middle portion as a reverse action mechanism for making and breaking the contact driven by a release lever, a protruded portion is formed at the middle portion of the tension spring to constitute so that the release lever is made to contact with the protruded portion of the tension spring.
