Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a Wankel type rotary piston engine of Mazda Motor Corporation which is a rotary piston engine in a conventional method is cooled to prevent the deformation or the like due to the uneven distribution of heat and thereby, the good mechanical efficiency is impaired by the poor thermal efficiency under present circumstances and so, it is necessary that the thermal efficiency is made at least equal to that of a reciprocal piston engine.SOLUTION: A cycle is used in which a part where an intake stroke and a compression stroke are carried out and a part where a combustion stroke and an exhaust stroke are carried out are alternately changed, and thereby, after heating in the combustion stroke and the exhaust stroke in the part where combustion and exhaust are carried out, a suction stroke and a compression stroke are carried out to cool the heated part by intake of fresh gas.
