Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermo-optical power generator in which heating efficiency can be improved by heating a radiant body with a flame part having the highest temperature and an energy conversion efficiency be improved as a result.
SOLUTION: This power generator is provided with a radiant body 24, a means for heating radiant body for heating the radiant body 24 with a counter stream flame sandwiching the faces of the radiant body 24, and a photoelectric converting element 34 for converting photoelectrically the radiant light emitted from the radiant body 24. For example, the counter stream flame is formed of a flame which is produced through the combustion of a fuel gas supplied from one side 22 of the porous radiant body 24 and an air supplied from the other side thereof.
