The thermo protector includes a heat conductor A, a heat sensitive body, a heat conductor B, a switch mechanism, and a housing part. The heat conductor A includes a protruding part on the side opposite to the surface that faces a heat source. The shape of heat sensitive body changes according to temperature. The heat conductor B includes a hole that engages with the protruding part of the heat conductor A. The heat conductor B is arranged between the heat conductor A and the heat sensitive body. The switch mechanism includes a slider that moves according to change in shape of the heat sensitive body. The switch mechanism opens/closes according to movement of the slider. The housing part encloses the switch mechanism.
