Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric body that is able to increase an abnormal Nernst angle.SOLUTION: A thermoelectric body 1, i.e., a magnetic body, which is used in a thermoelectric generation element 10 utilizing an abnormal Nernst effect contains iron in which iridium is doped. A thermoelectric generation element 10 includes: a substrate 3, and a thermoelectric body 1 and connector 2 arranged on this substrate 3. The connection body 2 is composed of a non-magnetic body that does not exhibit the abnormal Nernst effect, a ferromagnetic body magnetized reversely to the thermoelectric body 1 or a ferromagnetic body having an abnormal Nernst coefficient opposite to that of the thermoelectric body 1.
