Title:
THERMOELECTRIC CONVERSION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3396698
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve both detectability and high-speed responsiveness of a thermoelectric conversion device, which is constituted by electrically connecting a p-type thermoelectric conversion layer, formed by using a p-type semiconductor and an n-type thermoelectric conversion layer formed by using an n-type semiconductor in series via a heat-absorbing conductor 4 and providing thermo- electromotive force taking-out electrodes 5 at both ends of the n-type thermoelectric conversion layer, and at the same time, to increase the degree of integration of the thermoelectric conversion layers.
SOLUTION: A thermoelectric conversion device is constituted, in such a way that n- and p-type thermoelectric conversion layers 2 and 3 which can transmit infrared rays are formed on a substrate 1, which can transmit infrared rays and a lens face 7 which can condense infrared rays made incident from the rear surface 1a side of the substrate 1 to a heat-absorbing conductor 4 is formed on the rear surface 1a of the substrate 1.
